Bart represents businesses, entrepreneurs, family offices and investors in their mergers and acquisitions transactions, entity formation, corporate governance, commercial contracts and other general business matters, as well as certain financial services regulatory matters. Bart has acted as the primary attorney in well over 100 transactions with deal values ranging from several billion dollars to smaller six-figure transactions.Bart is the former Chair/President of the Mergers & Acquisitions Section of the Dallas Bar Association. Bart has presented several continuing legal education programs to attorneys on topics including mergers and acquisitions, general business law developments, the Corporate Transparency Act and financial services regulatory developments. Bart has been quoted by Bloomberg Law and has been recognized by Best Lawyers® as a "Best Lawyers: Ones to Watch" in the practice areas of Corporate Law and Mergers & Acquisition in 2026.Bart spent the first eleven years of his legal career practicing law at some of the world's largest law firms, focusing on mergers and acquisitions and other transactional matters for clients ranging from Fortune 500 companies and large-cap private equity firms to individually owned small businesses.In addition to practicing law, Bart operates a search fund focused on acquiring and operating small businesses and also develops industrial commercial real estate.
